Abstract. This research was conducted as part of the European Union project - Robo-mate - User-friendly intelligent wearable exoskeleton for manual handling work in industry.
The industrial exoskeleton is intended to assist workers for tasks of lifting and lowering heavy weights, such as seats, tires in the automotive industry (FIAT company), to substantially reduce spinal loads during these activities.
